Whether you are working on strengthening your ankles, trying to rid yourself of heel pain or just trying to find some relief for your tootsies, foot work can be very therapeutic:
- Improves stability and flexibility in the foot to allow it to move with fluidity
- Allows the foot to adjust to various footpaths with ease
- Can improve mechanics in the foot, knee and hip
- Helps to re-align your entire posture, from the feet up
- Prevent shin splints, sprained ankles, and plantar fasciitis
Try this exercise
Place some marbles on the floor in front of you with an empty bucket or a rubbish bin nearby. Using your toes, pick up the marbles, one by one and place them into the container. Repeat with other foot.
What feet issues do you have? Do you give your feets regular attention?

I'm guilty here - I don't give my feet any regular attention. I guess it's time to break out the marbles...
Im in for the marble idea too!
only to show off for myself :)
I have horrible balance and core but very dexterous feet!
My first roommate in college used to turn the light switch on and off with his feet. He had strong feet! He also gained 50 pounds that first year. Not sure if there was a relationship :-)
One of my favorite things to watch my sister do when we were teenagers, was turn the key and crank the car right up with her toes! She could also pinch the fool out of ya with those things.
Some of my routines include excerices for the feet. I have a touch of arthritis in the left that irks me from time to time. But, I keep going.
I do the tennis ball under the feet thing. Just roll it around using all parts of my feet while I'm watching tv or surfing.
