Not fo...</title><content type='html'>I used to need to wear braces on my wrists. Not for working out. That was before I started exercising. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now I use nothing. If I pull a muscle, I just modify exercises not to aggravate it. Like I'm still nursing some shoulder strain. The discomfort / pain tells me my limits. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I do use weight lifters gloves to keep a firm grip on my weights as I still have grip issues. (I have wrapped a sprained ankle with an ace bandage after stepping in a hole while running.) The one exception is a "band-it" that I wear on my right forearm while playing tennis. Playing tennis at a pretty good level, I got a case of "elbow" several years ago. After the appropriate treatment, and using the band-it, it cleared up.
