For the first time in my life, I hired a fitness trainer.  He&amp;#39;s keeping track of my weight, measurements, and exercise so that makes things easier for me.  He gave me Linda&amp;#39;s menu plan, which I follow, but I still transpose that food into weight watcher points and write them in the little WW journal because it also tracks my water, dairy, veggies and fruits.  I only work out with Josh 3 days a week, so my journal also lets me track the two miles I walk in the park or currently I&amp;#39;m enjoying the Turbo Dance DVD&amp;#39;s.  Gotta have that music!  I feel fantastic right now at this stage of my life (53 yrs old) and nothin&amp;#39;s gonna slow me down. It was something I needed to see about before going any farther.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, I stuck at maintaining for a whole year without a bauble [until the protein bars experiment - but that was rectified in less than a week]. So, I finally decided to try stepping a little farther down the track.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Right now I&amp;#39;m trying to build more muscle [I want me some guns] and tone up further. I don&amp;#39;t feel my wings have shrunk at all [my main nemesis], but I determinedly keep working at it. Every other upper body exercise targets those damn things. They sure are stubborn ...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My other goal was to maintain a variety in workouts. Each day, I record my minutes exercised and the type (ST, for strength training, C for cardio). I also jot down any out-of-the-ordinary splurges I have. It&amp;#39;s working really well. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For other goals, I&amp;#39;m struggling. To-do lists have worked well for me in the past, as I loved the satisfaction of checking things &amp;quot;done&amp;quot;, but the lists aren&amp;#39;t doing the trick just now.
